Lady Bugs

Welcome to Elite Academy. Our Lady Bugs class is designed for dancers 3-5 years old. This class will introduce tap and jazz basics in a fun learning atmosphere. Dancers will also learn how to get along with others and learn basic classroom skills.

Class Attire

Wearing the proper attire not only teaches discipline to the students, but also shows respect to their teacher as well as their class mates. It is the parent's responsibility to make sure his/her child is dressed properly for each class. Students must wear the required leotard, shoes and tights each week. The dress code is as follows: -Class leotard (must be purchased through Elite Academy) -Pink tights (must be purchased through Elite Academy) -Black ballet and tap shoes (must be purchased through Elite Academy) Hair: must be slicked back in a bun

Drop off and Pick up

All students should waiting in the waiting area before class starts and we ask that all parents wait in the waiting area until your child’s class is finished. Teaching the little ones how to stay in line and follow directions is important and it is easier for the teacher to make sure each child is greeted safely by his/her parent rather than scattered in the hallway.

Observation Day

Observation dayis the first lesson of the month. We hope that you will stop in and see your child’s progress. Out of courtesy for the teacher and students, we ask that small children are left at home.

Elite Academy Website

Notes are sent home on a regular basis. Please make sure you pick one up from your child’s instructor if your child is absent. You can also keep updated by the studio cork board or visit our website at www.eliteacademy.us.

Performances

The ladybugs class will perform at our Christmas Concert and at the Summer Concert in June. Performances are a great time for the young dancers to show friends and family what they are learning. Performances are always optional, please let your child’s instructor know if your child will not be performing.
