We are excited to announce that Shaun Parry will be in town April 17-25. Please read his Bio below. He is awesome. He will be teaching a Musical Theater class on Tuesday March 20 @ Elite Academy. This class is open for ages 8yrs and up Int-advanced. We hope that all of the Jazz Line classes will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Shaun Parry

Shaun Parry is a veteran performing artist from New York City. He is an Eagle Scout and graduated from BYU with a degree in Music,Dance & Theatre. He has taught, performed, choreographed or directed in Japan, Greece, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, Italy, Canada, Switzerland, England, France, Peru, India, Kenya, China, NY, Hawaii, and most of the states in between. His career spans Broadway, Off-Broadway, National and International Broadway tours, the Metropolitan Opera and more. A few highlights from credits include; Phantom of the Opera (Broadway & Broadway National Tour), CATS (Broadway National & International Tour), AIDA (Broadway International Tour/Original Japanese Cast Recording), A Christmas Carol (Broadway-Madison Square Garden), Beowulf (critically acclaimed world premiere-Off-Broadway), The First Emperor (Metropolitan Opera w/ Placido Domingo), A Few Good Men…(New Victory Theatre-NY), Disney Cruise Line (orig. cast), Race for Love (World Premiere -Beijing, China and Edinburgh Festival, Scotland),All Shook Up (Chad), West Side Story(Bernardo), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Pharaoh), Man of La Mancha (Pedro), Swing!, Fosse, New York Theatre Ballet (principal), Martha Graham Dance (principal), Buglisi-Foreman Dance (orig. cast of “Mean Ole World” on B’way), Ballroom National Championships, 2002 Olympics and Coach for MTV Made to name a few. Shaun is the President and Founder of Promethean Spark International, a nonprofit organization teaching essential life skills to impoverished youth worldwide through training in the performing arts. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Musical Arts Academy of Nairobi, a member of the Advisory Board for Rising Star Outreach of India and a guest lecturer, teacher and director/choreographer at numerous Universities around the globe.
